Claud Butler Ritchey Competition, can't find diddly!

Looking at the catalogues I end thinking Claud Butler introduced that sort of groupset 93 / 94 ish and by 1998 had gone to v-brakes. So I end up in the 1993 -1997 time span. Anybody able to nail it down a bit tighter? The ever curious.. Janners

Diamond Back Response Elite...Anybody else riding one?

I have had this since new it was 1994 or 1995. It has been ridden a lot, wiped down with a cloth with WD40, chain wiped and go again. I had to replace the chain last week, tyres and brake pads obviously but that is it. I call the great value riding. Anybody else riding one?

People back to work, prices back down?

Just that really. As people go back to work will all those "retro projects" sit in garages and sheds. Does this mean we then see them back up for sale in 12 -18 months? Janners

I quite fancy an Orange, so I guess tonight with a beer in hand I'll be browsing this this thread. Early steel, hardtail is my kind of thing. Back of my mind from my days as a youth is something about 1" steerer tube...or is that my memory failing? Research time. Janners
