Well to be honest I think my bike is a 19 70somthing, but my components are decent now but the frame is a 501. Will have a look through the list you put up and hope I find a frame. Or just get some colour ideas and stuff. Soo much stuff to look up and buy, not far off getting all the bits I need...

True tire but that's why I need some idea that don't have stupid bright colours and wacky decals lol

Aha cheers mate, it rides ok now and iv stuck a spacer in it now anyway. Going to take it to the old bike shop owner and get him to have ago. He is realy good and if its a small job probs don't even charge.

What do you mean? Not sure how to measure that? I measured my chain stay an it says 165mm

It's a tifosi 102mm bb. All sugger up as tight as they can be. They have like a lip so it can't go in any further :-( humm

Oh right yeah il have a measure but if its not any idea how to get the crank in a little more?

That was my first though aswell, that is was out to far but it's defiantly the right bb for the crank. I sticks out about 2mm more than my old crank and bb did but dont know how to get it in any ferther. Chain line looks fairly good though. Any suggestions how to get the crank in abit more?

Yeah I though that. I will have a look for somthing I can use as a spacer. Just glad I got it all sorted. Need a new free wheel now and wheels

So I finally got it to work! Thanks guys I know you guys could see all the problems but this is my first time building up a bike. I had to take the spacers out the FD cage to make it narrower as you can see per picture but it runs fine now with about 1mm clearance from the crank and I set the...

I don't think I have as I was only turning the crank very slowly until it hit so I defiantly didn't damage it. The centre bolt roller for the FD was taken off when I was checking for bends but I only put it back on I show you pics and i was sure to put it on when making ajustmentsbut I know...

When it's on the small chainring its on straight but I have to have it so far over to shift it looks wonky and when it does shift up its hits the crank as per image, as for the hight I could try it abit lower cheers :-)

Yeah I though it was a risk but managed to get it to work with the index shifters aswell but use the friction as its smoother. But the shell needed some tweaking to get the 102mm bb in lol
