    Fake Dyna Tech?

Yeah probably an m-trax Ti frame from 94ish, would be my guess. Or whatever year they did the polished middle to the main tubes and paint on the rest of the frame.

    Fake Dyna Tech?

It's definitely not an Odyssey, probably a warranty replacement frame that's been painted in the original Odyssey colours. This was quite common with Raleigh when the original frames were no longer available as a replacement the equivalent was used instead and painted up to look like the...

    1990 Cinder Cone

I exchanged a few messages with the seller a while back as he had it on as a 1987 model, even though Kona started in 1988. He seemed to have convinced himself that it was some unicorn and all original spec (which it very much isn't). As others have said, way overpriced still but it's come down...

    95 Orange C16R (Finished!! 12/05/13)

It was a Sram clamp on this build but I picked up the proper Sachs clamp when I swapped all the kit on to my Dave Yates.

    1980's Raleigh 531 bikes

If your google-fu had thought to look in the Archive & Gallery section on here you might have had more luck. http://www.retrobike.co.uk/gallery2/v/M ... 9.pdf.html

    Black 17.5" Dynatech Wishbone f+f

Probably either a Sentinel or Encounter frame due to the 2060 frame decal but it's got a mission or Voyager straight bladed fork. So could be it went back for some warranty work and had a replacement fork and a new single colour respray done at some point in it's life.

Fake M Trax Ti 1000 with "rare" Reynolds K2 tubing

It'll be an M-Trax 1000 rather than a Ti-1000. K2 main tubes only. I'd say it's the seller getting confused rather than trying to pull a fast one. Other than the title being slightly incorrect there's nothing wrong with the listing or price tbh.

    Dynatech Torus LX

FYI. If you've got something for sale, post in the sales section in a new thread rather than piggy backing on someone else's. There are no "offers" allowed on here, you ned to set a firm price.

    Unique paint job Raleigh

Re: If you read the description it's silver leaf not paint, hence the rough look. Still not the neatest job ever though.

Raleigh storm with a few questions

The frame is typical of Raleigh's entry level bikes used on the Mustang, Lizard and Nitro (just a few I can remember). All were hi tensile steel and built to a price point of around £100 - 175ish. I built and sold hundreds of these when I worked at two Raleigh dealerships in the 90's, they...

Raleigh storm with a few questions

It's a fairly bog standard bike, not worth much so do what you like with it. I'm not familiar with this particular model but I sold plenty of these types of Raleighs in the early to mid 90's so I'd guess it's from around then. You'll find much more worthy of restoration on here in the sales...

Re: So maybe not the original fork then. PT could stand for Prototype perhaps. You could try a PM to mkozaczek who is the author of the second spin cycles blog and a member on here, below is one of the threads he started to research the Klein frame numbers: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=273546

Re: You'll be able to date the frame and fork by looking for their stamped numbers, should be somewhere on the underside of the rear dropouts and rear of the fork dropouts. Then there's a guide on the following blog as to how to decipher the numbers: http://www.secondspincycles.com/2013/10...
