Not that I can see. Just the normal nut which came out without a problem. I'll try cycling close to home in case the drive side crank falls off while I'm out....

Trying to remove cranks from early 1990s giant stone breaker to fix wobbley crank problem. Lefthand crank comes off OK with standard crank puller. But at driver side crank the crank puller is actually pushed out of the threads when the crank puller is turned. Clearly, there is something up with...

OK I can see the bit you mean - the circlip - but levering it with a small screwdriver under it isn't moving it. I'll try again. Thanks for your advice so far. Mine is an 18-tooth sprocket.

OK I got the sprocket off no problem - there wasn't a springclip; it just unscrewed. This is a 1973 hub am wondering if it will fit on yours OK. Can you show a pic of the side with the missing sprocket on yours? I can't see it it clearly on those two pics. Do you know why the sprocket is...

Thank you. You said this is completely unused, correct? I have the bolts so I just need to see if I can remove the sprocket from the wheel I've got. Can you wait while I find out?

A long shot I realise but I am after a steel/chrome 24 and 3/8ths inch rear wheel with a three-speed Sturmey Archer hub. It's for a 70s Puch. Thank you

Code on the hub says 75 so that dates the back wheel at least. Anyway, handlebar stem is stuck.

Puch badge, 24-inch steel wheels, three gear sturmey archer, plastic seat branded Ranger. Nasty gold paint job which may be a repaint. There's scrap of a yellow decal on the down tube but no other markings. Any idea what this was?
