    rigida freewheel problem

Re: I agree it does. But it wouldn't take new Shimano gears and the Atom got stuck half way. Just got a different atom so might try that.

    rigida freewheel problem

Hello Got a Rigida 700c alloy rim with freewheel threads. Threads won't take British gears or something French like an old Atom 66. So what are these threads designed for? Or have French threads changed since the Atom 66? Can post a pic if it helps. Thanks

    Holdsworth retro rebuild

The bars are exactly the same width as my stem and while I'm sure they probably are compatible Im not going to take the risk when I can't get the stem out. I don't want to get in a wrestling match with them. So, sorry I'm going to have to pass on buying your bars on this occasion. Mark

    Holdsworth retro rebuild

Thanks. Got the mech. Common sense I suppose that Campag did the levers too. So now I need Campag Valentino levers. Anyone?

    Holdsworth retro rebuild

A friend has given me her early 1970s Holdsworth Equipe to retro fit back to how it used to look. So, I'm taking off the straight handlebars and am seeking GB alloy drop handlebars, Weinmann brake levers and two suitable friction shifters on a band to wrap around the tube. Would these have been...

    Claud Butler name problem...

Here's the complete bike. Bears the shop sticker of 1920s racing star Raph Wyld, who later opened a bike shop in Derby. Paintwork is quite rubbed but it is now a fully working bike and it is a lovely smooth runner. It simply glides along. The inverted Compe V front mech had me puzzled for a...

OK thanks. Understood. When you said 'another CB' I thought you meant something else.
