"Everyone knows Bendycat" aka BMX's by the seaside...

I went out for a bit of a bike ride today. On the way out of Brighton, I saw someone on a pristine Skyway BMX, with the matching shorts, shirt, cap etc. Apart from thinking he must be a bit cold (and probably missing a sony walkman), I didn't really think much else on that until a few hours...

    Time TBT pedal advice

Re: On the TBT shoes I had / have and also on the SIDI with adapters I have, the cleats are recessed, and therefore I think with the shoe you have, they might be too proud of the surface. This might mean that they give a lot of float, or it might mean they are difficult to disengage, or they...

    Bar tape choice??

It works fine for me, I have it on my CX bike which gets used often off-road and thus gets dirty a lot. It cleans up well but yes if you wanted it white then its probably a different matter. As for modern, Cinneli Cork was released in 1987, hence it may be suitable for the bike. I have yet to...

    >> New Build: Singular Puffin

I believe that later generations of Fatbike are aimed to be more trail friendly (indeed the Puffin was sold as that), whereas nowadays I think they are stunt bikes or something :D http://vimeo.com/116572902 They ride like a lot of fun :) Yes they are relatively heavy but have lots of grip...

So is that the Bud? and what rim is it on please? Looks Ace, I am hoping for snow, someone is trying to sell me some 'ground controls' too but I am sticking with the BFL's for now. And yes, the wheels and parts are a pretty penny aren't they!

Re: Re: With the Audax events, you get a cue sheet, sometimes a GPX file, but they are largely followable if you have the sheet and a map! (Don't mention Me and BobcatMax trying to find our way around them!). I might do it yes, I'll know in a few days if I can make it and sign up. They are...

    What bike to restore?

Peugeot? They can be a reasonable spec for the money and not that rare and the parts are usually mainstream Depends on budget you had in mind but Italian starts to get expensive. Gazelle? Well regarded but perhaps not as well known as others, but still something that sells?
