I went out for a bit of a bike ride today. On the way out of Brighton, I saw someone on a pristine Skyway BMX, with the matching shorts, shirt, cap etc. Apart from thinking he must be a bit cold (and probably missing a sony walkman), I didn't really think much else on that until a few hours...

It works fine for me, I have it on my CX bike which gets used often off-road and thus gets dirty a lot. It cleans up well but yes if you wanted it white then its probably a different matter. As for modern, Cinneli Cork was released in 1987, hence it may be suitable for the bike. I have yet to...

Peugeot? They can be a reasonable spec for the money and not that rare and the parts are usually mainstream Depends on budget you had in mind but Italian starts to get expensive. Gazelle? Well regarded but perhaps not as well known as others, but still something that sells?
