They are Pace RC40's though. Do they have a replaceable steerer like the other various Pace forks I have owned in the past?

Ah yes, stupidly I never considered that (I'm on a training course so my brain is dead from Powerpoint!!) So, the forks I have my eye on with a 160mm steerer will be too short then?

Thanks for the comments on the bikes condition, it still gets used twice a week for about 40 miles (not each!). Old Coyote Pedaller, I thought it was Circa 2000, due to the rear swing arm. Bikepedia does show it as a 1999, but with the red rear arm. I think you've nailed it with the the 1999...

Santa Cruz Superlight with BROKEN REAR TRIANGLE!!!!!!! Frame measures 18" from middle of bottom bracket to top of seatpost, but I'm sure it was bought as a 17" frame. Anyway, as you can see in the pics, the rear triangle is bust. Comes with Fox Float RL shock that was serviced a couple of weeks...

Not sure is this is Retro enough for here, but I have a pair of BRAND NEW, NEVER USED XTR M970 hubs with XTR Rims. The stuff you can see on the wheels is dust from storage. Brand new not a mark on them! not sure what they are now worth but I know how much they cost!!! Looking for £150ish? now...
