I use shimano Ceramic pads on my crossmax's bit hard so lack the inital snatch of vbrakes, but totally consistent and dont wear out mid ride!

You guys are gonna love this.... ;) went on the reccie ride today... a little muddy, but some really nice climbs, drops and views! far too knackard to type more... but i guess you will have a proper report soon :)

so cool!! :) My first 856 turned heads as i outclimbed the hardtails at cheddar :D complete with a bright orange disk on the rear wheel :p (ok that was retro even then!!) continued to ride hard and do well racing it... only changed it when i bought the shockabilly and the airline broke the...

it does look that way! :) it will be nice to get out again, and ride with you guys... :) the cannock ride we made quite an impression... always fun to show the youfs of today what real bikes look like!

we had one as a demo bike when we were scott dealers... not bad machines... certainly looked quite cool... as for value, ive not got the foggiest, sorry!

im sure ive seen anothr prototype merlin full sus - no pivots or elastomers anywhere... the downtube was a 2" wide ti 'blade' the following pic is rather bad!! but i know what it looks like in my mind!! :D i can even see the original mag photos in the depths of my head!!! :D
