    Wanted Airnimal folding bike

Thanks, appreciate all your replies. I do like your build and it's super tempting but I may be guilty of doing what always seems to happen - set a max price in my head then let it slowly creep up as nicer parts etc appear. I may just have to stick to my budget and keep an eye out for a more...

Gone down a bit of an airnimal rabbit hole now and looking at rhinos... Do these frames come in different sizes do you know (joey or any of the others)?

Let me know what price you would be after for those and I'll have a think about the options.

    Wanted Airnimal folding bike

Alternatively would you be interested in selling the frame, pace forks and wheels as a bundle rather than downgrading saddle and gearing etc?

    Wanted Airnimal folding bike

Okay, that seems more than reasonable for the condition and parts, I'll give it some serious consideration. Whereabouts in the country are you? I'm in between Liverpool and Preston.

    Wanted Airnimal folding bike

Yep that last one is the one I've been watching, fairly local to me as well (1hrs drive) but seller is an unknown quantity. How far am I off what you would be looking for with original fork?

    Wanted Airnimal folding bike

Well was hoping to spend up to £600, for a nicer build I'd have to consider maybe selling a few bits to balance the books

    Wanted Airnimal folding bike

Thanks, I do actually remember your original post from back then and thought you had done a great job. I am interested but expect you may be looking for more than I am looking spend at the moment. Pm me some pics and an approx price you would be happy with.

Tentitavely looking for an Airnimal, either a Joey or Chameleon. Flat bars and disc brakes preferred but will consider other options.

    Mystery and Unidentified Parts

I remember there was someone who made some DH triple crowns using curtain poles, did quite well on them iirc.

    2005 Rotec RL9 rebuild

Ha, love the trailkings, got a set stashed away along with some original Flatboy and Cully's. Would love to find a set of the original Atomic Industry pedals before they became Atomlab.

Mountain Cycle Shockwave 9.5 revamp. 14.7kg final weight.

wheres the pic of the full build? And totally with you on things that never seem to go right, and could have been done better by yourself. Annoys the hell out of me and complaining only gets you more frustrated about it.

1992 Konas - why all thumb shifters?

Thumbies were more reliable, and lighter. Also probably cheaper... All hail the thumbie!

Yeti build thread. Not in the wrong section.

I did wonder about the chain, thought you might have a fiendish solution like using a chain off a rear internal gear hub etc. but I guess that would definitely be cheating :)

    Oh Canada Oh Dekerf

Gorgeous, timeless build. I've a lot of love for Canadian parts as well. just bought some PNW bars. My favourite Canuck manufacturer was Straitline, still use there defacto pedals and SSC stem on my DJ/4x bike. Such a pity they no longer make MTB components.
