Got some Sunn branded wheels which I no longer have a use for, they are rim brake only and have a 7/8 speed freewheel. 100/135mm QR axles. Sunn branded rims and hubs. Not the best wheels by any means but might do for a pub bike. Anyone want them before I drop them off at my local bike charity...

Pair of Maxxis swamp things mud condition DH tyres in good condition for age, with the classic Maxxis orange line around the edge of the tread. Wire bead, 26 x 2.5" £30 plus postage at cost.

Machine Tech are lovely if you can find some, failing that Avid speed dials are always decent enough.

Yeah compromises for sure but I do have a set of 24" rims I could use leftover from a jump bike build (that guess what - got upgraded...) similar to yours, and could borrow a set of hubs from my existing commuter bike. I've a spare set of Avid BB7's that would go nicely on it as well. I'm going...
