Ive been watching those with intrest, i assume they are hand made reynolds tubed mountain bikes,they look to have the original tyres and componentry .make them a real bargian,i doubt they have even seen mud.I Need More Space.

That was a bargain,look at that seat and grips,a real timepiece

Great project this,i was intending to buy it myself ,but ummed and aarrd about it too long,mainly regarding the frame size.Glad to see it here,a pair of amber wall knobblies will transform it.

Dont honestly know about that,there may be some combination,maybe use originals with better pads,or even touring bike cantilevers of the same period

If i remember rightly,the cantilever boses were threaded at the ends,and the cantilevers themselves were held on with nuts,as far as the bb,a big wrench on the flats for the drive side,sure its a left handed thread but check,clockwise to untighten,for the other side you can get a c ring spanner...

Bargain id say,M1s hardly come up for sale,especially the SL variant

Hope they get banned from ebay,Does it look like the frames had a respray,and the 531 sticker on the forks,does that look to have been added later

What actual model is that,it states in the ad that its as it left the factory,looks to me to have had a respray,although it has a 531 sticker on the fork blades,and thats a nineties rear mech,a countrtyman??

I think that stem is a Tuffneck,i bought a schwinn a few years ago with one fitted,in gold even,its worth more than double the price of the bike if its a genuine one,ugly though,bars also look tasty
