Picked up this 80s looking bike locally. It’s an Abbey can’t seem to find anything about them. Seems hardly used with one owner from new. S.R. Roots thumbshifters and front derailleur. Polygon brakes. I’ve cleaned it up added some modern tyres, new grips & pedals. Anyone have any info about this...

Re: Here she is cleaned up, re-greased, shod with some new tyres and taken for a quick spin in the sunshine. Rides lovely, perfect for a cruise on the local cycle paths.

Just picked up this Motobécane Mt Becane for £5 from Shpock. Think it’s from around 84. Looks like someone bought it and never rode it. As from what I can tell it’s all original with Wolber rims/tyres and looks like original dia compe brake pads! Can’t wait to clean her up and take her out now...
