I didnt do the frame it was powdercoated. Frame and fork decals from Gill. I was only responsible for fork lowers, stem, and seat clamp as a job for someone else. Phone pics really dont do it justice sadly. Im not too familiar with retro Marins but the fork decals were spot on. I fitted them...

Getting there.... Special thanks to MrDickens who did a wicked job sanding the back end. 3 rounds of sanding with 220, 400, and 800 grit paper got my rear end silky smooth. Also modified the cable stops as I won't be running a front mech

Now for the more nerve racking stuff.... I cleaned up inside the headtube and re glued the lower insert. Used a DIY headset press to hold it in place. Then I started preparing some carbon to reinforce the frame for a dropper post cable port..... 8 layers of carbon prepared in alternating...

A bit more progress today. Firstly something fairly easy, fitted my shock mounting hardware. RWC needle roller kit for the top eyelet, standard Rock Shox setup in the lower. I chose the RWC because all the main pivots run on sleeves and bushings so I figured it might improve small bump...
