Have just bought a second-hand group-set to upgrade my Peugeot Pro, and want a frame to donate the old down-tube shifter groupset to, making a winter hack/commuting/trainer bike. I am after a steel or Cromo frame of the appropriate size, with down-tube shifter mounts and preferavly 130mm rear...

I really should have sorted a proper winter bike out for commuting by now ! I'm after a 54cm steel or Cromo framed racing/touring bike that absoloutley must have mudguard and rack fixings. I'm really not fussed what, but ideally Raleigh, Dawes, Peugeot, Claude Butler etc. Up to £100 cash...

Is the frame still available ? Is it 130 mm rear spacing ? Whereabouts in the country are you ?
