    1990 Rocky Mountain Cirrus...

I too have seen Cirrus with both styles of FD. And generally, the band style FD was for the early Cirrus. On mine, even with 127.5mm spindle and despite getting 47.5mm chainline, the cable is still slightly sliding against the derailleur body [1]. But the front gears are operating fine with it...

    1990 Rocky Mountain Cirrus...

Would be interested to know if you'll hit the same issue than me with the front derailleur [1]. Since yours is the collar band version, there's hope.

    1991 Rocky Mountain Cirrus

If you ever put a front derailleur on your Cirrus, I would be interested to know if you hit the same issue than me [1].

I've used V33 (water washable) and a pony hair brush (not to mark the aluminum) to strip the paint on my San Andreas frame [1].

Titanium frames gurus! Can you identify this frame?

The Spanish bike also resembles a Litespeed Tellico, a Ti 6/4 bike too. Not a 100% match though, even when comparing with different model years.

Titanium frames gurus! Can you identify this frame?

According to this thread [1] (in French), end of the Emery bikes was 1995. In this thread, a '96 (well, '95 in fact) Ti Emery is shown. Still not the same cable stops than the Spanish bike and no more welded seat clamp, among other differences.

Titanium frames gurus! Can you identify this frame?

Wow, that late? I thought that Emery (well, the bike department) was already out of business at the time. Interesting to see that the design of the bike evolved over the years. With luck, the welding techniques too and this Ti 6/4 may be undestructible .

Titanium frames gurus! Can you identify this frame?

Could indeed be an Emery Ti. But the derailleurs cable stops don't match. There's one cable stop on the seat tube for a top-pull FD on the "Spanish" bike, whereas I can't find any on the Emery linked by @24pouces. So the Emery probably had a bottom-pull FD unless something bad has happened...

Titanium frames gurus! Can you identify this frame?

Are the dropouts that good indications to look for? The dropouts of the Litespeed Ocoee have nothing in common with the other Litespeed models. Well, at least in 1992. They furiously resemble the dropouts of some Sandvik-built bikes, though the Ocoee is definitely a Litespeed one :). Moreover...

'92 Mountain Cycle San Andreas resurrection

How did I miss this one [1] as a reference?!?? Absolutely NOS! Or maybe the article was published long after I finished restoring the frame of mine. Anyway, according to Vojomag [2], it belongs from day one to Michel Forestier, a famous name in the (early) French MTB scene. By comparison with...
