I use a freewheel on a single-sided hub or a double-sided fixed hub. But you shouldn't use a fixed sprocket on anything other than a fixed sided hub that isn't complete with a specifically made lockring . . . unless you want an expensive [a personal 1960's experience] disaster!

Looking at your pictures I would think the back brake bridge is possibly like this. This is one of four frames I've owned with exactly identical features. They are just rebadged imports. I've owned Puch, Rudy Altig, Prentice, and a no-name. All with identical features. I've also had an O'Brien...

I have a Rory O'Brien in and I can assure you that is not one of Rory's of Manor Park/Romford, Essex. Have a look at the back brake bridge and fork ends, for example.

I've had several Rory O'briens and I can assure you that the above pics/or decals are not a Rory O'Brien of Manor Park or Romford in Essex. I did have one of the "Obriens" named above but it was a roadster-style cycle.
