The small sprocket on my 6 speed Uniglide (British Eagle late 80s MTB, Deore) is worn and causing the new chain to jump. Does anyone have a new :lol: :lol: :lol: or good used one for sale? Alternatively, does anyone know where else I should start looking? Many thanks.

Thanks for your replies. Yes, what you have both said makes sense, especially the chain line. Thought indexing would simplify things so no need to make occasional adjustments at the most inconvenient times, eg. panting up a steep hill. As an aside, do newer bikes have indexed cranksets?
