Hello. I'm looking for a ahead steerer tube of a manitou 2 of 1 1/8 for change the actual thread tube. Are there any store or somebody that has a ahead steerer tube with crown for this fork? I think in a company that makes CNC heads for this fork. I don't rememeber the name. Thanks...

Thank you for your opinion...Must be patient with a dremel type machine, and many hand job later to polish. Only can do this, another anodized needed a full crankset polish...I prefer this bicolor shape, I think

Yes, at the first these kooka cranks were (I think) full anodized in blue but when I won them in ebay were in faded blue. I polished them and I prefer to maintain the blue anodized sides. THe photos shown before and after.

Finally I completed (by the moment) the manitou FS with many pieces that I bought in ebay and the bike forums (includes this). I know that needs some components for be a genuine classical bike but with time I believe I will can complete. The second phase is try to look for purple components...

Well! After to read your answers and to be thinking about how I can resolve this problem, I have can repaired the strap. I have changed to a screw with more lenght for the strap can introduce better and so, can be screwed the two sides of strap at the same time with strenght. Thanks for all.

Hello. With my manitou Fs cames a very strange front derailleur XTR mod 901. It's mount in tubes higher than 34.9mm. The clamp is like the photo. The problem is that this clamp hasn´t any force on tube. Somebody have another front derailleur to sell?. Or knows how repair this derailleur...

Well, these tires are the best for me. In my LTS I have the front tire (Aggro) but i would like to have the pair for install in the manitou FS too. Do you have any idea? Regards

Thanks for all information, but finally I will put a reducer ahead set to 1 1/8 for maintain my actual fork. P.S. Mount a Judy in a Manitou FS frame is a sacrilegy. :? I will upload photos when finish the restoration.

The problem isn't the headset, it's the steerer tube in 1 1/4. or a full fork (manitou of course ) in this size that I cannot find. So I will try with the reducer headset. Thanks and regards

Well, after thinking this weekend ans seeing the difficult to find parts in 1 1/4, i believe will buy a reducer headset for mount my actual fork. The options now are a chris King DEVOLUTION or the two reducer cups and after put in a standard 1 1/8 headset. Do you think about this? Regards
