Thanks for this. The steel wool isn't a bad shout actually. I might do a trial area vs the pads and see which gives the best finish. As you say I think it will end up as a combination of methods. Will give that a go with the decals on the forks later today. Thank you

Hi all, It seems my addiction for Litespeeds is growing as I picked up another frame on ebay a few days ago. Can anyone help me identify it. It has v brake mounts, and has a transfer for the head tube vs the metal shield style. Thanks in advance all. Phil

Very clean and unfaded set of purple hubs on Mavic X721s. Removed from my litespeed build as I have now fitted Spinergy wheelset. Stainless freehub in good condition. Bearings are silky smooth and wheels are true. No cracks on the flhub flanges etc. Collection welcome from Hythe...

It's been a few months since the last updates but things have been taking shape. Key changes are : - Spinergy wheels - Litespeed stem - Ti stem spacers - Flite titanium saddle (remake) This is currently hanging in my lounge. I love retro bikes!
