    7spd wheelset 700c

I've got a 7sp wheelset with 7 speed hyperglide. It's originally a 126 but has been spaced out to 130mm. The cogs are in good nick from memory but the freewheel and front hub both need servicing. Will photograph tomorrow and give a better spec! Jon

    Raleigh headset replacement

Raleigh Richmond used a standard 24tpi thread as far as I'm aware. My 27" one certainly is. It is a Worksop coded model, so if your serial number starts with a 'W' it should take non-Raligh bottom bracket and headset. Give it to a bike shop to smack the cups off if you don't have the right kit...

Re: NOS Nuovo Record RD, NOS Shimano 600AX RD Shaun Here's some photos. The 'ST' is on the back of the front panel, the 'M' on the inside of the polished back panel, behind the spring arm. All panels are alloy, aswell as the cages. Is this of any help? Cheers Jon

    B.S.A Twenty folder question

Would 451 do the job, or some other similar BMX size not suffice. Or would there be a mudguard issue?

    Trouble with chain slip

Also is that RD not rotated too far forward? If you moved it rearwards it would look more normal to my old, beer-riddled eyes!

    Trouble with chain slip

Cold setting the back end woud fix it. Like I said, I'm only guessing but a quick eyeball from the back end looking forward woud tell you quickly enough. Seems unlikely to me that a damaged thread combined with faulty shifting is mere coincidence.

    Trouble with chain slip

Is it possible that the geometry is out on the RD hangar? What could the reason have been for stripping the thread in the first place I wonder? Is the backend on the piss in relation to the rest of the bike, thus twisting the chain?

    Trouble with chain slip

If you throw it away could you tell me which skip you use?! Have you checked if the right crank nut is tight. Maybe it's wobbling about knckering the chain link? Just a wild guess.
