Very good condition, professional frame, only some little sign due to movimentation into the garage during last 20+ years.
Frame in perfect conditions, never been used in competition.

So the difference I can see between 87 and 88 frames is on the use of lugs in the fork crown and the seatpost. This could be the reason for the different tube sizes.
About the rear brake cable, I moved it on left side of the steering (as the same as you) because on the right side...
Thank you Tommy, I raplaced the old one with a SR that I had fortunatly at home. Unfortunatly it's an earlier model but it fit perfectly. It's marked 26 but decimal point could be ruined.

Tommy your two SS are fraternal twins, very similar, but there are few differences between 87 an 88 models.
Can you check the seatpost diameter, please? I have a doubt.
I supposte it's one of the earlier mtb handlebar set made by 3ttt (TecnoTubiTorino). The CHRO-MOLY stem is 85mm and should be tig welded, EXTREME bar measures 64cm and come back 3cm on both sides. VERY COMFORTABLE!!
Hi everybody, I love that pulley welded under the stem, very elegant in the form and efficacious while braking. I've seen it ever, does somebody tell me something about this solution?

Do you know in which years Mtb builders adopted the rear "hidden" brake and why does it disappeared later? Which was the reason? too much mud? not so powerfull braking? or...
