well you convinced me - 8 speed c records bought today i suspect the theme of the bike will end up all mid 90's c record - but will take longer than anticipated to finance / build! going to have a play with what wheels / cassettes i've got to start off with.

Just had word back from vetta - no charge for the decals! What a top bloke! Next task is finding a suitable nice looking 25mm dia seat post... Without breaking the bank!

Cool - really want a c record crank (personally the most desirable lump of alloy ever made for a bike) but crave more modern gearset to make it more user friendly.

Quick one - as per title - any problems with the old 7speed chain rings and 9 speed chain? Trying to get myself up to speed after a 20 year layoff!

Replacement decals sorted - emailed Antonio Taverna direct today and he's kindly got back to me already to provide replacements :)

unsure to be honest - not too struck on the original colours but i'll see if tehy grow on me and get it touched up probably (surface rust on teh top tube) I used to have a pearl dark pink harry hall (way back) done similar to the old pinarello advert...

It's all the lurking on here over the last year or so ;) 20 years of no road bike has taken its toll :) all I need is to loose 15kg so I can use them properly!

As per tittle really Not bothered if its a frameset or full bike providing the paint is standard (relatively tatty considered as long as its structurally ok) Piu non piu - straight or normal fork not bothered eitherway really
