Hhmmm - contemplating running the bike for a season without touching the paint.... Bit of a "rat" look. I know it's a pain building it up to then strip back down for a respray but want to know if I like the ride before spending money on the frame.

Last daily driver was a gta sportswagon - 130k miles great car but needed sensible so now a Skoda vrs (tad boring but exceptional car) If only just Alfas.... Lancia too.... This one with regret had to go as it was costing £1000's a year to just keep on the road

I doubt it.... It hasn't moved for over 2 years! Last trip was to oulton park where I stuffed it backwards into a set of tyres - only at 5mph on the drift circuit thankfully ;)

And that's as far as I'm going to get I imagine till April :( now officially skint! Might have to sell one of my other Italians to fund it.....

Cheers guys - convinced I can find or borrow (to copy) one. Far too nice a mech to bin. It's strange how you get preferences of kit which 'theoretically' isn't as good as another - but visually it's more pleasing.

Does anyone know if you can get spares for a 1989 ISH first edition Athena rear mech? Or is it the case of when broken or lost bin :( Attached showing the bit I mean

I have a modern plastic colnago - great bike which does everything well. Always hankered for a late 80's mid 90's colnago (when I was racing I couldn't afford one) and since looking at the quality of a few frames have decided to 'never meet your hero'.... Done loads of looking at...

The weather up here is cold but most of the snows gone. How much 90's road stuff is there likely to be?
