Just my tuppence worth, I run a pair of Michelin 'country rock' 'semi' slicks I can't recommend them enough. Cheap, light & durable, Michelin compound.. Excellent in the wet & dry. Great on loose ground, predictable on any surface. Pretty much as close as you get to a slick, just play...
