    Use it lol No, I'll tinker with bits as I go. If it was standard I'd probably keep it that way, but as its not :roll: No doubt bits will need replacing as I use it so will take it from there, just need to get it sorted! Going to spend the evening ordering up parts me thinks :)

    STX RC 8 spd shifter or compatible - back mech cover

    That would be awesome! The mech still works perfectly, its frustrating as its only a flimsy plastic cover that screw on the back. The cover i need is for the rear shifter.

    I require the cover the fits on the underside of the shimano stx rc 8spd shifter, and is held in place by a small screw. I recently purchased a gt sts XCR 1000 and the cover was missing. Ideally I don't want to have to buy a complete shifter. Thanks all. Chris
