    For Mangizmo - Aldi

Didnt claim im a local legend, I just said that I like to keep peoples expectations low as a 61 year old bloke on a deeply unfasionable £150 bike loaded with accessories that nobody else bothers with....."underpromise and overdeliver" is always a good policy IMO and I have never used STRAVA or...

    For Mangizmo - Aldi

Its all a cunning ploy, when I go out on a Thursday training ride there always people that dont know me, so an old duffer with an unfasionable bike, with a kickstand, a bell, a handlebar bag, a mirror and a portapotty saddle with springs and a £15 helmet is sure to be slow right ? I always swap...

Drop bar add ons for flats....what do you think of these ?

I am getting on well with this set up just an experiment at the moment but I will probably keep it, I have used linear pull Tektro drop bar levers for V brakes with cyclo X top mount repeaters and that all works great, drops are spaced at 51cm, time will tell

Drop bar add ons for flats....what do you think of these ?

I ordered these from China that attach to flat bars and turn them into drops, just an experiment as I haven't tried them yet, but on the face of it they offer, drops as wide or narrow as you like, you can use drop bar brake/shifters, or flat bar shifters, or bar end shifters, you can adjust the...

Hmmmm I have always used bar ends on flat bars and never broken one so they may be ok, but point taken, not sure about the ergonomics yet, I will try them and let you know

Rear view mirror, do you use one?

So by your reasoning, any review of anything on CW is not worth reading particularly if there are links to buy, is that correct?

Rear view mirror, do you use one?

Wwwwwwwwwwwwww Its a form of inverted snobbery, also I find that when I go out with the local roadies, a good trick is to look as incapable as possible, bell, mirror, kickstand, handlebar bag (but still swap tyres to 23c), its a myth that these things slow you down very much....."underpromise...
