This the only pic I could find. I actually told the bike owner that I thought the rear mech was wrong. Because, a friction shift system has no need for an adjuster on the mech. This mech has an adjuster.

We bought the wheel set I found mentioned above, so that sorts that out. The rear that is on the bike is a Suntour RT 1000. Iy looks period but I wouldn't know. The mech doesn't swing on the hanger bolt, you just position it and lock it up??? that correct?? Ta TP

Thanks for the advice. The photo is not the bike, its a www library pic. The owner is not fussed about the exact wheels, just something generally that period. Free wheel hub. So if I can search for perhaps the most common/easiest to find wheel. Any ideas? Were they 6 speed originally?? Thanks TP

I'm putting the above together. We are missing the wheels or something period to fit. 126 OLD free wheel. Rims for tyres not tubs which is what I think they were. I don't know anything of what the wheels were. Thanks TP

Might be simpler for me to be told which one to keep for my 600AX groupo. The one with the AX on it or the one without the AX on it.

Hello Can anyone tell why these bottles are slightly different. They both look like proper Shim bottles but have sight differences. Which one should I keep, I only need one so one will be for sale with cage. Thanks TP

After another pair of TC's for an 80's build. Alu would be nice with correct screws. The tape measure pics shows the size I need L-XL 65-70mm. The other is the Christophe alu Z size Med swap or sell for £17 inc post.

Thanks fellas The sprocket is a rouge one. On dismantling the cassette, it was clear the plating colour was different. I have got a replacement 17T one from eBay.de. Thanks TP

Hello Is the 4th sprocket correct? in my cassette that I'm pointing at. It has different tooth shape to the rest. Just wondered if this was done for a technical reason is it a rouge sprocket. TP

I have to get a 26 stem for it. I just bought the Jan Janssen frame so I can build it soon. That stem I have has a metal hidden bolt screw not a plastic one, just wondered if it was correct? It is in all other respects?
