It is 6" i2i which is 152mm, not 6.5" which is 165mm. My frame (Wild Hare) is actually made for 6.5" but I fancied trying to lower the bb/slacken the head with this. Only the steering has gone to pot because of it, so I have to go back to 6.5". I can do pics by tonight.

Ok, sale on hold....might turn into a steerer swapping party instead....sorry all if so.....

What it says on the tin folks. Turns out it was too short for my Wild Hare modification after all.....makes the steering decidedly shady so has to go to a home more suitable. In very good condition, lubed and squidgy. Looking for 90 squidders posted, i.e. my investment back.

Keep thinking Reba. I have a set of Reba Race's with V mounts that cost me 110 quid second hand and a friend just got himself a set of Team's with V mounts for 165. Both internally adjustable with spacers to go to 120mm too......just need to find them when they come up.

Seems the magic spell sounds like this: helicoil thread repair....... So still in the game then.....I get scared what else this frame can throw at me......if it dies I'll have to source another, as I love the ride and lightness and have laid down too much cash not to be riding a Hare...

Soooo...... Bought new Avid bb7 and Toronto cycles adapter for back. Adapter here and bb7 incoming. Bought 6" Fox RL......incoming. I should be almost done. And deliriously happy. The bike rides superbly (from along the river ride testing only....)....and now this: Had a creak develop...
