Thanks for the tip :) Certainly is a difficult decision to make and it definitely isn't a great way to make back your expenditure! But I'm happy to have a go at selling it for what I'd be happy to sell it for, who knows, might be lucky and if not at least it ensures I keep it :)

No offense at all, awesome bikes indeed. Good luck with tracking one down, took me ages. In the end I got hold of a frame and went from there...

Ha,ha! No it doesn't! The paint job alone cost approx £120! All spares are staying with the bike too, incase I don't sell it and end up keeping it.

Absolutely heartbroken to be doing this, but I finished building this in December 2011 and it just doesn't get ridden due to the demands of parenthood. It's been out of the cupboard approx ten times since it was built and a nagging bank balance has twisted my arm to sell it. Needless to say...

After trashing an axle on my Bmix, I've now become completely stumped on finding a replacement! Does anyone have any 9mm axles they're happy to sell? I'm looking for 135mm ideally but happy to take a longer one. Hope I don't annoy anyone by posting this in mtb, my Bmix is 26" so figuring...

Wow, that's cheap! Be good to hear how it goes :) Think I might just get the width of the drop outs changed to 14mm if I struggle with hubs too much, quite like having a bmx hub on the rear, it's just the issue of finding good ones...

That's not a bad idea getting the rear end remade... Although I can't imagine it'd be low in cost? I thought about filing out the dropouts to 14mm but was a bit nervous about attacking the frame... Just going to collect 10mm axled BMX hubs instead so I've got some back ups :)

Does anyone have a pair or just the rear of the Shimano DX BMX hubs? The ones I'm after are the MX66's like these... I would be eternally grateful for any help :)
