Why are mtb riders such wimps??

Give up pal, my mum who is 76 rides her bike on the pavement becuase shes shit scared of the amount of traffic which has appeared since 'her day' of riding everywhere 'cos her parents never had a car! You cant argue with that reasoning really, can you? She even stops when people are walking...

    Carbon V Aluminium Rigid Forks

No worries, you can repolish any scratches that you acidentally create back out. When you have used up the 'soaps' provided with the kit,for its final polish use about 3 tubes of autosolve. Its messy, but brings it up nice...and dont rush, let the mop and drill do the work, just hold onto it firmly.

    Carbon V Aluminium Rigid Forks

Like I said, Bob, it takes a lot of practice and time.I aimed to polish a tube a night depending on corrosion.and mind the chuck of the drill around the triple triangle area as it can snatch and re scratch the frame. Good Luck. 8)

Polishing kit Halfrauds £12.99, stick the end of a drill and do 6mm at a time. Took me 25 hours so far, more to do in the winter in front of the telly (by hand).Dont be be scared of keeping the neighbour hood aware that you are using an electric drill for the combined hours of at least a day...

    Carbon V Aluminium Rigid Forks

Thanx, they certainly look the dogs.Im sure they will make the bike feel 'livelier' too. My Pantera has a 1 1/8 steerer, but what length should i go for? As I said before, i had a set of old judys on it before, so what should i require to keep the bike at the same angles(?).
