Well, I've gotta admit defeat that my setup is a ''square shapes in round holes'' scenario.... Have tried all manner of spacer configurations but the chainline is still well out approx 60mm..... I don't believe any front mech or however much fiddling would get one to work, my fears were...

Well of course...... if it dosen't colour match it's just not good enough..... I do like pink very much indeed, but in this instance pink just wont colour match either :wink: But thanks for the constructive input and kind offer all the same... :lol:

Well, got in finally rideable with a screw on 19t SS I had knocking about....... doing this cheap and cheerful to see if I can get on with a SS.... Went round the block earlier and really liked it but that was totally flat :D Still running the Middleburn double chainset on the inner ring...

Guys, Does anyone know if the spaces supplied are mandatory ? I currently have chainline issues and 2 x spacers on the drive side and one on the non drive side..... is there anything stopping me removing the two drive side spacers ? Cheers Paul

Well just to update this and calling all proflex owners..... Despite more tinkering and even taking it to the LBS we can still not get it to work properly without fouling the front mech cage at some point...... It appears the mosy important factor here is the external style bottom bracket...
