Can anyone tell me how to get a really good finish on aluminium parts ? I want to get my cranks buffed to perfection but I'm struggling to get them shiny. So far I've used Salvo Autosol and a dremel. It's polished them a bit but I've mainly succeeded in plastering me and the surrounding area...

I use an old piece of boom handle, It's hard enough to hit with a mallet and to move the cups, but soft enough that it won't damage the cups.

Hi Mr Panda It looks good, I'm after a post '94 frame because of the adjusted geometry but I'm not sure how much of a difference the adjustment makes. How much are you after ? James
