The 150mm of travel that you are requiring is for the frame. A rear shock can have a different stroke to generate the travel you wish. What frame is it for?

Tazio, the trails in Thrunton enable waiting time so don`t worry, get y`self down. It`d be good to see you. Gears and suspension recommended though. Maybe good brakes too ;)

Following conversations today this IS happening, Thrunton in the morning and something else nearby in the afternoon :o Have macRetro got the strength and the troops to raise a raiding party or is their energy still sapped from Skye :wink: THWACK!!
