    Single speed Klein Attitude

A stunning bike and a seriously impressive weight, but I'd have to go with some fatter rubber from a looks perspective.

    Clipless merits

Are these any good or more hassle then they're worth? They look quite good and and seem like a nice solution for a one bike does all pedal. SPDs are great and they've only been responsible for a couple of falls for me, none on the road thankfully.

'98 Rockhopper build - Nitanium magic!

Starting to get there: I'm going for a 1x9 set-up, probably with a 32 up front. I decided that since there aren't many nice 30.4 seatposts out there, I could just file down a 30.9, which was a mistake and definitely not recommended, The current wheels are shite, but budget constraints mean...

    What frame have I bought?

I like a small bike, but at 16" C-C and 6'2", we're definitely not compatible.

    What frame have I bought?

Awesome! Thanks for all the info guys. Unfortunately it's too small for me so I won't be building it, otherwise it'd be perfect for what I want. Hopefully it'll find a new home since I reckon it can be saved.

    What frame have I bought?

I bought this stunner as a whole bike from a friend and wondered whether anyone could identify the frame. It's badged as a Voodoo using individual letter stickers over a terrible paint-job. It has Ritchey drop-outs,a 27.2 seat-post, 28.6 Front mech, all 3 cables run along the top tube using the...

'98 Rockhopper build - Nitanium magic!

Thanks! The picture is very flattering, it's a horrible rattle-can job that I've washed and degreased. Perfect to build into something without worrying about originality. Your rebuild looks great, always good to see neglected bikes given new life. Donor bike arrives on Tuesday, which should...

That looks brilliant. An interesting idea and really well executed. Shame I hate sanding.

'98 Rockhopper build - Nitanium magic!

For my first retro build, I wanted a late 90s , steel hardtail with 1 1/8th headtube on the cheap. This popped up so I went for it: Thankfully it was as lacking in rust as it looked and I knew it must have led an easy life since it still had Strongarm cranks (The ones on my2001 Rockhopper...
