no worries. i had a similar problem when i fitted new wheels. the gap difference was minimall but made a hell of a difference

it sounds like you may need to adjust the settings on the forks etc. maybe move them out so you can see daylight between them and the rim. then try to adjust the screws from there.

they may not be retro but they ride very well.

i had the x-treme air the truth is up there t shirt in burgundy and the matching sweat in a purple ish colour. the sweat faded to hell but still felt comfy. think i still have both now. i got both of mine back in the early 90's from the tiny shop in wellington in somerset known as kings cycles...

i have a full sus frame at home that is is bare aluminium. it looks alright as it is.

i agree with scant and a few others. south wales is ace. especially cwmcarn. seeing as its only about an hour ish from door to door. depending on how big a lump of lead you have on the bottom of your right leg. lol. they are ideal for all manner of riding abilities and strengths. :D
