Oh and someone asked how long... we were pming during March, I sent payment on 31st March and a pm to say it had been sent, he read it on 1st April and thats it... he hasn't read the message after that chasing, so I too hope he's ok.

Yeah I suspect the ban was a result of this transaction... I'm suprised to be honest, few people said they had had dealings with him and had no problems, gutted though, it wasn't the amount of money I could afford to lose and I'm very dubious about buying anything from here ever again now :(

Ditto that. There was a particular style of Etnies that they no longer make (sadly) that were really grippy on cage pedals. :(

It's suprisingly difficult to capture in photos... it's a 32 hole rim so couldn't do a true crows foot, so it's a crows foot/radial mix - see attached. (Oh except went for silver instead of black spokes as per diagram!)

SO nearly finished now. My cranks didn't arrive in time, or the blue boosters, and I do need some decent tyres and seatpost but other than that I LOVE it. Here it is as PORC earlier today: Close up of wheels, which I am massively pleased with. The photos don't do them justice...

Christmas tree colour scheme was the plan!! i.e. random non planned colours but it seems to have just gone mainly red/blue. Ironically though, my Christmas trees are never multi coloured. I have a different scheme each year, but then I am a little bit OCD about stuff like that ;)

LOL 'tyres' are in my Wanted thread... I'm thinking I'm going to have to give up on retro tyres and buy new :( I LUUUUURVE the mech and shifters. They are so awesomely cool, I can't believe that there isn't anyone who doesn't like them :wink:

Yeah, you know how much ringle hubs cost though, right? :D That black one was a bargain so I went for it. Already got blue middleburn chainring, just waiting for the cranks to arrive, and found blue seatpost too, just waiting for payday!! That said, it was never meant to be a colour...

I reckon it'll be a love it or hate it type thing when it's done. I'm still not sure about the polished frame but it'll do for now until I stumble upon the one I really want :D

Yay my wheels are done! Check the black/silver spokes and spoke patterns!! Got some more stuff to fit next weekend too, then it is going to be pretty near rideable :D

Maybe it just meant it shouldn't be used by burly men in submarines? :D
