Thanks Sidewinder. I think an 18" proflex would be too big for me though. I've only got 29" inside leg and from what I see/hear Proflex tend to be quite big anyway.

It looks like I might not get access to a bike for Mayhem so I'm putting the feelers out there for any possible full bikes or projects which don't need much work to complete. I'm after anything as long as it's retro and ridable. 17" frame approx and suspension would be nice but not...

I won't lie. I'm interested in the Saris Bones rack but 90 is a lot when Wiggle retail them for 99. I was ultimately hoping for a Bones 2 for around 50 quid. Looks like you are trade though with all that new-with-labels kit so I doubt you are going to drop to those sort of prices though?

36 Days?!?! Holy cerap. I really need to get this retro ride sorted out in time. It's still apparently lurking in a garage in Cardiff somewhere. Re. training this week has so far consisted of an exploratory night ride with a local guide of some new forestry in the Dyfi area. Plans afoot...
