Small update in this one. I added the rear v-brake carbon fiber booster to keep the frame from flexing and installed new old stock Mythos red wall tires.

Re: DBR Axis TT 93´resurrection I love this, the green is so nicely understated but adds the right amount of flair. Something about the front geometry of the frame, stem angle and length, and handlebars just looks right.

Getting closer to assembly, fork is getting rebuilt by Jerry at Hippie Tech then it'll be ready to go.

I found this in google images, a link to an old eBay auction that isn't archived anymore. I grabbed the Google pic, sorry it's blurry. Any help would be appreciated as I would really like to find a pair for my upcoming build. It looks like the model is "smoke II" but I can't read the other...

So lovely to look at. I prefer the brighter colors on mid 90's Stumpjumpers but this is sophisticated and understated.

I didn't do the build, but the guy at my bike shop showed me how the derailer wasn't working through its travel correctly and he attributed it to a tiny, maybe 1mm, difference in those ridges in the stock XTR bolt vs the turquoise. Maybe the turquoise won't work on a long-cage XTR M900 derailer.
