Ordered some stuff the other day from Chain Reaction and must call into a local anodiser tomorrow and see if they can clear anodise the rear end to preserve the polished finish. Still have to get the front end painted and figure out the colour of Boxxer 151s

Yeah http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=230685 I bought the project from secs (neil). I haven't updated it as there seemed to be more interest in empty cans of red bull, but stuff is still happening with it.

Yeah mine is small and it looks like a BMX. I see you can get lay back Thomson Elite seat posts if mine is too short.

    Em had a flashback

No I don't think so. I remember it being jet black and maybe the components were anodised titanium. It might have been a works bike or something, I think maybe a Specialized alright. It might not have been in a mtb mag though. I think it was a feature actually and not a build and it listed each...

    Em had a flashback

I saw this bike in BOTM and had a flashback of a build from the mid 90's of a black bike with gold anodised component and now as I write this I think there was a max weight target that was pretty light for the era. Does this ring any bells? Sorry if it wrecks your head  I think it had...

Raleigh Dyna Tech appreciation and information thread

I have a Dyna tech frame that was my first proper mtb. I bought the frame 2nd hand and it was a warranty replacement of the owners original. It has the Cr-mo rear triangle, no wishbone, alloy head tube, bb and seat tube lugs which are black and the 3 titanium tubes are a light grey colour...

It's not really that much. If you look at the whole picture it's a different story. Not sure I can explain so I won't even try. http://cdn.speedhunters.com/wp-content/ ... edBull.jpg

    Irish GT Lobo

I received an XTR 116mm BB from Chain Reaction and the front wheel today. I'm missing the 2 spacers for the hub though and it appears to be a Bulb hub so I contacted Hope about getting spacers, so fingers crossed that they can sort me out. On the plus side it is the correct D321 rim laced to...

    Irish GT Lobo

Lobo decal set purchased, MRP World Cup chain guide purchased and a better condition M952 XTR rear mech. What size BB axle is needed on a Lobo? I measured the shell at 73mm Edit Postman just delivered the rear end bearing kit and XTR 5 arm spider.

Big thanks to you so Chris. The Image Works replied to me saying they can supply Lobo decals for £25 + postage http://www.bike-stickers.com/homepage.htm No I don't drink Red Bull. My AE86 is the money pit from hell this Lobo is quite cheap in comparison.

    Irish GT Lobo

How's it going. I bought this from a friend(Neil) last week. It's a local bike that went around the country a bit. At least 6 previous owners probably more. I stripped it down and cleaned it up a bit. Then sent the rear end to a local fella for polishing so I should have it back by the end...
