1994 Kona Fire Mountain super light for sale (resto project)

I apologise, but have no idea what it is realistically worth. So, I'd like £500 for it but, because that would be stupid and know there is no way I will get anywhere near that any offer will be considered. Off the top of my head I guess around £100-£150 as it stands. If someone in the know...

1994 Kona Fire Mountain super light for sale (resto project)

As above, has Project 2 forks but has been stood for a long time. A good soak with wd40 or gt85 is needed! It's got what I guess are early Deore shifters too. Not sure what it's worth, offers on a post card please! Collection from Nantwich, Cheshire is a big advantage.

Early 90's GT Timberlines - Green & Grey - PHOTOS ADDED!

Here are the pics..the green one appears to be virtually unused, other than a few superficial scratches in looks almost new. The left shifter needs attention, works but doesn't stay in place just shifts back again. Even the sponge grips are perfect. And the grey one, again, it's...

Early 90's GT Timberlines - Green & Grey - PHOTOS ADDED!

I've got a couple here that are in very good condition, a grey speckly one and a green one. They are the ones with the U-brake type thing on the rear. I will sort out pics if someone is interested, collection from nr Nantwich in the North West would be useful.

Hello People noob here! Just a few questions

it won't damage chrome, just stick to a medium coarseness and you will be fine - I've used it on loads of frames.

Hello People noob here! Just a few questions

dude, all you need to do is a clean it up....a little fine wire wool on the rusty bits on the chrome and then polish it and all will be sweet. Take it all apart, clean/polish/re-grease and rebuild - job done.

Hello People noob here! Just a few questions

Be warned though, just because it's new old stock it doesn't mean it's in mint condition! It could have been kicked around a warehouse for 20 years and used as a door wedge but it's still 'NOS'!

Detective work - bit of help required.

If you are still around, I'm 99% sure that is a Procraft - it should have 'Ishiwata' stamped on the rear dropouts..

    curtis race

Yep, the red Curtis! I do still have it but it is stripped down at the moment as I moved house last July. I just added white tuffs and the few other bits it needed and used it for a while. It's somewhere in the garage under all the other stuff that has not been unpacked yet...

Not much, did have a cruiser a few months back. I know the Halfords race team rode Wilson bikes and that they are very nicely made.

    curtis race

Sorry, I though Gary's surname was Curtis too... The PR headtube is the same as a Curtis, the way the seat stays meet the seat tube is the same, the rear dropouts are the almost the same as the ones on the Brian Curtis bikes and the forks are identical. Oh, and it's made from T45 and Curtis...

Well, Brian is Gary's dad....I'm not sure what the details are but Curtis BMX's were sold from 82/83ish I think. The Brian Curtis ones I don't remember as I got a moped in 1985 and forgot all about BMX! I do have a freestyle bmx mag that has the Brian Curtis freestyler in (a prototype) and...
