i see that you too went a little crazy with the electrical tape on this build! I found myself putting it all over my most recent build in the exact same spots. A tip to you is to go to a good hardware store. they tend to have many colors of electrical tape and i found one that almost matched...

finished!!!.... well mostly. i am trading my thomson black for a thomson silver set back. found i was maxing out the rail. also sorry about the bright grass. I upped the saturation a bit because the photo was sad looking in this cloudy weather and i felt didn't show the frames true...

WD-40! tiny bit on the front of grip. slid them on then off again a couple time to build up a goo. slide on one last time then don't touch them for a day and they cake on nicely! had no problems this way! good luck DOC
