    Retro MTB hierarchy

It does make me laugh when I see some 'Retro' bikes for sale, and the price they ask because it's 25 years old! Back in the day it was crap, nothing has changed, it's still crap imo! I'm not going to give examples here, as I don't want anybody crying! But here's my car comparison. When I was a...

    BLO removal?

    BLO removal?

Well, I can now testify that pure acetone also doesn't work at removing BLO! If you happen to BLO a steel frame, ensure you don't get any on the exterior!

Yeah I kinda thought that, thanks matey!

    BLO removal?

It's something I applied myself internally to a '92 Corrado, so it's definitely BLO. It's basically ran out of the various holes when it's been drying. I'll try some turps, although I'll give the acetone a miss, scared that might be a little harsh. Thanks for the response, folks!

    BLO removal?

Effective way to remove solidified boiled linseed oil from a frame, anybody found a safe effective method? I've tried GT85 and petrol, both ineffective! Tried a hairdryer and scraped with my finger nails, I'm fed up now!

    Knight

Did a little research on Knight cycles, interesting stuff! Surprised to find out, than even at their peak they were only knocking out 7 frames a week! Unfortunately when the frames started pouring in from Taiwan and China, knight's frame building days were soon to be over, and by the early 90's...
