Iron Horse Sunday 2005 - semi retro!

Yeah, doesn't help that every time I've used it, it's either been battered about in uplifts or it's just been very muddy. What did you use to polish your chameleon by the way? It looks ace. You should upload some more recent photos of that thing :)

Iron Horse Sunday 2005 - semi retro!

Cheers guys :) The finish requires quite a bit of work to keep looking nice though. Might get it powder coated or anodised when I have the money.

Re: One for the Lawwill lovers - Schwinn rebuild with twist Excuse my language, but that is ******* cool!

Iron Horse Sunday 2005 - semi retro!

Yeah, I don't think they look right with 40s, 888s might be nice though.

Iron Horse Sunday 2005 - semi retro!

Re: Iron Horse Sunday - semi retro! I still know a fair few people that have them, they're a pretty common sight on the trails these days! Or at least compared to other bikes from the same time. These things just don't seem to break! Cheers :) I'd like to get some of the newer 35mm Boxxers for...

Iron Horse Sunday 2005 - semi retro!

So I have a 2005 Iron Horse Sunday that I acquired at the end of last summer, as I had cracked my Orange 223. I know it's not exactly retro, but in terms of downhill bikes, it's fairly old. It also has the racing prestige of several years on the downhill WC circuit underneath mr Sam Hill, so I...

Giant ATX Team DH (Rob Warner Replica)

They look like C2s to me. Nice bike.

    Fork suggestions for RSP Freeride

Orange prestige 2009 - new forks on! 06/12/12

Any particular reason? I just find it strange that you wouldn't like suspension.

Orange prestige 2009 - new forks on! 06/12/12

Why would you put a rigid fork on there?

    Sinister Ridge rides again

Very nice, I enjoy a long forked hardtail (love mine) and love the look of those sinister frames, awesome bike :)

    Morewood shova LT.

Needs a decent long travel single crown really, those drop-offs are terrible forks. Looks nice apart from that though.

    My Winter Hack

Gotta say, I don't understand the winter hack bike concept... Surely in the slop, you want something more capable when the trail gets gnarly and wet. Just make sure you wash your bike properly... I've had no more trouble maintaining either of my bikes in winter than I have summer.

My bike history, thus far. Some retro, some not.

Cheers guys - the Ragley is pretty special with some pretty crazy angles. It likes to go fast!!

My bike history, thus far. Some retro, some not.

I'm pretty bored and I thought you guys might find this interesting, so here goes. When I was about 14 or 15 I got this Carrera Vulcan from Halfords for £200 brand new, used it a fair bit on some local loops and then got a bit bored of it. Got back into riding a few years later and upgraded...

orange sub5 build + other oranges

Awesome collection you have there mate! the alpine and 223 look really smart. Had to get rid of my 223 recently as I cracked it - got a sunday instead and it's much better, the geometry on those 223s was very strange :?

    My Winter Hack

I've never been a fan of rigid SS bikes, but that thing looks awesome! I'd still probably put a suspension fork on it though, reba or something. Looks very sleek though, love it!

Definitely, the swing arm and downtube on the old patriots were way chunkier than that.

    Kona 2+2 2011

Who'd have thought it? Haha, bikes have come a long way. My 'XC' hardtail has 170mm travel up front, 203mm disc brakes and a 1x9 drive train. Sounds like a downhill bike but it's light and controlled enough to ride XC on. Not 12 years ago it wouldn't have been!

    Manitou Revox

Haha, you may have done, not too sure about the ins and outs of the new frames.
