Raven 1 rearend transformed in Raven 2 rearend?

Never seen that done before?I wouldn't do it as I much prefer the look of the mkI rear triangle and trying to find a rear end would probably be quite tricky. Not sure how much modification you would need if any?

    On one fatty

I'm 6'3 and got the 20" it should be spot on, my 22" marin feels too big for me. I love the idea of no suspension, no bushes/pivots or tweaking of pressures and springs. It appeals to my lazy nature! I've had ages to look at these fat bikes and I can honestly say I don't regret spending £1k on...

    Shipping a bike to France

Yep she sure is, it wasn't just the condition of the frame (as I bought it) but also having the original receipt and a service receipt is pretty rare (and puts your mind at rest that it wasn't nicked!) that attracted me to it. I paid £350 for frame and fork so it really is a bargain.

    Shipping a bike to France

This is useless!Fedex's website have told me the package and weight to send a bike is too large and they cannot offer a service, had one quote for £120!!!!Surely there has to be a reasonable courier somewhere?

    Cannondale Raven 4000SL

Yup she's back up for sale, previous buyer has pulled out so she's back. 19" 4000SL with lefty jake fork and also the original fatty SL fork. However the lefty axle was stripped so I retaped it to 7/16ths UNF thread (practically the same size so hardly any material from the axle has been...

I know it won't be the fastest thing around and it will be harder work on the trails but they just make sense to me, a bike that will go just about anywhere, low maintenance and they look pretty cool to boot 8)

Possible solution for unsticking a seatpost??

Not sure if anyone watched that classic car restoration programme? The one with the mustang they did up?Anyway the guy used boiling vinegar to try and unseize the engine (failed), I've never seen this done before but wondered if this might work on stuck seatposts?
