Just been to the lbs and it would seem that whoever fitted the bb put it on the wrong way ie the drive side bb screwed the wrong way into the non drive side on the frame! He suggested a few ways to shift it but any suggestions welcom.

Hi all I'm trying to remove the bb from my 94 Lava Dome and am having some trouble. Basically its stuck and when i tried moving the drive side, the teeth on the ring jus desintegrated. Its an old square taper type, probably the original. Will this come out or am i buggered? Cheers all

Hi All After buying my first project (all be it a small one) I have decided to get my 94 Lava Dome powder coated. I am therefore going to want some decals for it. I've looked about on here and found that a lot of people have said that gil m is the man to speak to. Is this right? Cheers

Sorted me out some brake levers. Very quick delivery and they were in great condition. Would highly recomend!

Hi All I am giving the headset on my old Kona Lava Dome a clean up before making the bike up. I was jsu wondering, though, is it possible to replace the old bearings with sealed cartridge bearings or can I get some new cup and cone type? Its an old Kona Impact headset. Cheers All

Thanks. It'll be staying the original (or as near to as possible if I need it re-spraying). I thought the headset would be a 1 1/8. I got confused by the stem as it says it a 25.4 mm which is 1 inch. I've got to get used to all these old style things again. I haven't done this stuff since I...

Its going to get a good jetwash when I have taken the headset out. I'll look at it then when its clean but it does look like its been used as a cats scratching post in some places. I'd rather not spend money and time getting it re-painted but it might need it (and i'm a tart at heart and will...
