The saga continues! The frame builder (neill orell), has been having a go at it with his assistants the last couple of weeks. He has tried heating, freezing, brute force, cutting off the seatpost at the top of the frame and cutting slits down the seatpost to try to "peel" it out..... But alas...

How much for just the avid mags without the levers? I have the levers to match these and have been after a set for ages. Cheers

I recievef them literally 5 mins after inposted about them! Thats the only part im a bit sceptical about (the tension bolt thingy). Did you use them at all?, im a bit worried about the bolt slipping and the brakes failing when in mid descent. Seems a bit strange tok that there is no washers...

I used a chepo nitro mors style paint stripper sups-dec i think). the paint was easily removed with my fingers after about half an hour of applying plenty of stripper (I put the stem in an old pint pot and covered it in paint stripper). I had rubber gauntlets on mind whilst I was rubbing the...

Re: sweet, I will pick myself up a pin spanner thingy and give it a bash. ps Bartsince1975, I "hope" mine come out looking as good as yours! I kinda like the look of the splines once they are off, proper industrial. Shame my rear hub is one of the later ti models with the standard mounting holes.

Does anyone know if its possible to remove the ugly disk spider off a front hope ti hub? I want to use the wheels with vees and the spider is proper ugly. It looks like it should come off but i have a feeling it is rivited on. Any help much appreciated
