Thinking of changing to floating rotors on my mono minis, anyone using different brands than hope, seen clarkes and superstar do them, but what's being used and any feedback would be appreciated. Cheers Jim

Just my two penneth, but those bolts don't seem to be parallel, if you pulled them up then it would put undue stress on the mounts.

What about a philcentric external bb, allows the use of standard drop outs with disc tabs, and keeps a standard size shell.

It also says that the compression adjustment starts from 1 turn out to 3 turns out, you've screwed it too far in and ridden it?

Do you have a manual? Have you tried reducing the threshold, and if you take the rebound adjuster off does the spindle turn anymore anti-clockwise (remembering where it was :lol: if it does) makes any difference.

The oil around the stanchions is probably just oil from the sliders moving in the legs and Tim has put more in there, looking at the PDF, does the damping adjuster feel easy to move or does it feel stiff. If you back off the travel adjuster does it come back up to the 130 mark?

Ok, did know what the 40s were, my 41s take a couple of cycles to lock out sometimes, and if you do it too quick the launch control pops off, but that maybe down to me running very little compression damping. Have to tried adjusting the compression as they may just be packing down.

Daft question, are they air or coil?

Gold would look better as the hubs pop in the pics.

Just googled it, should be interesting still not convinced of 29ers, but being a short arse its more to do with the ratio of wheel to frame on a smaller frame.
