Bought the cheapest M1 on the net - help with ID and specs?

So AM012304 would equal an M1, medium, 2000 model year, December build, frame 304?

Bought the cheapest M1 on the net - help with ID and specs?

Great info, thanks! The pictures have me pumped to get it built too, the bikes look awesome. I actually thought about running a Dorado but I had one on a VPfree I built a few years ago so have checked that off my bucket list!

Bought the cheapest M1 on the net - help with ID and specs?

I bought what is likely the cheapest Intense M1 frame on the planet and could use some help decoding the serial number. I did some hunting but the format of the number seems different than those described elsewhere. I'm 99% sure it's a medium and a late model but would like to confirm the year...

Syncros Ti BB - which pin spanner do I need?

Good advice. Maybe I'll contact FSA and see if they'll share the specs. I agree that getting a tool is key here - I've already had to clearance inside the end cap housings slightly to get them to slide over the bearings freely. I'm worried I won't be able to generate enough torque on just 2 pins...

Syncros Ti BB - which pin spanner do I need?

Thanks! I found that after posting but not in a search. The Hope tool in that thread looks optimal. I wonder if this would work: https://www.colyfordcycles.uk/tools-maintenance/tools/fsa-megaexo-chainset-pin-tool__30595

Syncros Ti BB - which pin spanner do I need?

Does anyone know which pin spanner I need for this Syncros bottom bracket? Is it an SPA 1 or 2?

    What are you stockpiling?

Aside from the Ti frames, I have multiples of everything on that list. Now I'm not sure about my mental health either...

    2000 Specialized S-Works FSR DH

That is greedy, you should sell one to me😁. I keep thinking an Intense M1 should be my next build until you update this thread - then I remember how much I want one of these...

1999 Specialized S-Works FSR XC M4 Build Thread

I used a no-name rear disc adapter on one version of my FSR-XC build and it worked OK. I looked for that shark fin adapter but they're impossible to find! Good info on the chainstay - do you think that was a Y2K model update?

    Carrera Banshee info?

Interesting to see what they looked like in OEM spec. Mine clearly had a longer shock installed and it really made the geometry funky.

    Carrera Banshee info?

Great, thanks for the info! It was a heavy beast but seemed like a good quality frame. I passed it on to a friend of mine after swapping the brakes - I'll see how it holds out.

    Balfa BB7

Nice Canadian odd-ball frame (they are Canadian, aren't they?)! Are those Hope M6's on there? Drool-worthy brakes...

    Mystery bike early 2000’s

The wishbone stays should help narrow it down. Maybe a Giant ATX 840 or a Trek 4500?

Fillet Brazed 853, interesting and un-offensively priced frame

I'd buy that in a heartbeat if they shipped to Canada, bondo or not!
