Wookiee's 2015 Travers Rudy Ti 29er latest pics page 6

Re: Re: Was just about to say that you can get an adaptor, best solution by all accounts! That SLX has to be the way forward. Fits 10 speed Shimano freehub too (unlike SRAM which need own freehub for 11 speed).

Re: Wookiee's 2015 Travers Rudy Ti 29er Great stuff Doug. Lovely bike. I have 1 X 10 on two bikes (one with an expander cog one without), will definitely get the new XT eventually. Group sets are so much cheaper than the old days where three chainrings a would set you back £50!

    Univega Alpina 5.4

Yeah that could well go cheap. They do tend to be good value for money, often ignored for some reason. That ones pick up only and miles from me though so unlikely to bid. Thanks for the offer of yours. Going to have a think and decide what to do.

    Univega Alpina 5.4

:D Pretty upset about this especially as it took me ages to get around to building it or looking at it (newborn in between starting this thread and recent developments). There's some salvageable parts and with my Saracen obtained last year I wasn't desperate for a bike, I've just always fancied...

    Inbred

Great value for money, deore kit is excellent as well so you could build a versatile bike for very little

    Inbred

I love this bike. Not used enough at the moment as a small baby means rides are currently at a premium, but it's a keeper for sure.

    On one 45650b

20" steel hardtail, bought new by me in November 2014. This was the last of their full deore builds. All drivetrain (2 X 10) and brakes are deore. Upgraded Thomson post and nukeproof pedals (metal ones who's name I forget not the cheaper plastic electrons). Rockshox Sektor Gold, maxxis ardent, on...

    SavagePower's Rides

Re: SavagePower's GT STS-1 That's immense, I'd show that off all the time if it was mine! Great to hear it's being used as well.

    On-One Inbred 29'er Singlespeed (updated 18/06).

Re: On-One Inbred SS I tried SS and found that similar gearing was just too much hard work. My brother now rides a lot of SS in the same areas but has (I think at least) settled on 30:20 gearing. Just makes the hills so much more doable. Nice bike by the way. I'd tidy the cables up but...

Lovely bike...but The White tyres look completely wrong in my opinion.

    what would you buy?

Voodoo bizango wins plenty of awards, light frame, decent air sprung forks that actually work, OK drivetrain. Halfords often have flash sales with 10% off plus you also get 10% discount for British cycling membership http://www.halfords.com/cycling/bikes/m ... ntain-bike
