A pile of Yeti Restorations :) FROs, ARCs, and Ultimates

She’s a 1989 by serial number and rear stay spacing … built in Cali, but it obviously has been to the Colorado shop at some point for a repair or mod to those riveted stops.

1987 Cameron Rebuild & Wiki - A Wee Face Lift

And another one to add to the mix. I think it’s about a 1989-90 given the group date on it, 1” HT, and frame design. It’s quite similar to my other one except for u brake on the rear. She lived a west coast life … thus the stem and fork ;)

    The Ventana Wiki - 1985 to 2021

A Tale of Two Tamaracks - East Coast Canadian Steel

Little update ... So here's a few more pics and the build spec on the 1991 Tamarack E-Stay. As noted already ... its a custom job. All prestige and fillet brazed. It's a lovely little thing. And yes ... that monstrous 29er in the back is also a Tamarack Mark Beaver custom built for me. Brazed...

1995 Rocky Mountain Suzi Q - Canadian Unobtainium

Thanks for finding that info and sharing … such an odd bike to take to production. Things started to get so vanilla in the mid 90s from the bigger companies like RM … one last crazy design I guess.

1995 Rocky Mountain Suzi Q - Canadian Unobtainium

Been a good year for me with Rocky’s lol. Not much luck for a couple decades. Then 3 awesome ones in a year.

1995 Rocky Mountain Suzi Q - Canadian Unobtainium

I saw that one … super wild. I’ll either do a white Judy SL or a FSX still thinking on that.

1995 Rocky Mountain Suzi Q - Canadian Unobtainium

Yeah … I’d never seen one up closer ever til I got this. It’s frame #44 so they made at least that. I don’t know how many were made, what numbers exist, and what the production story was. Online … there’s a cracked one in BC I think. A frame in Europe somewhere …. No idea the condition. There...

1995 Rocky Mountain Suzi Q - Canadian Unobtainium

This is how I got it … hardly used (notice the bell lol) Bit of grime and a few storage marks but it’s in pretty outstanding condition …

1995 Rocky Mountain Suzi Q - Canadian Unobtainium

It’s intact. Definitely going to build it. I actually got it complete with some nice bits on it, but it was used primarily on road and a trainer so it needs a redo. Given their nature … this likely isn’t one for the trail.

    Unused 1991 GT Zaskar

It’s neat. The only bummer on it is there’s a dime sized abrasion on the saddle where the saddle cover he had on it stuck to it. Other than that it’s just filthy. Gonna need to pull it all apart, clean/grease it, and put it back together. She’s dry as a bone. Obviously change the tires.

    Unused 1991 GT Zaskar

I’m not really sure. Someone on IG said it might be a 1992 spec? Which sorta makes sense with the XT group that’s on it. Serial number is definitely 1991 though. I don’t know GTs that well in terms of how serial numbers correlated to sale dates and spec.

    Unused 1991 GT Zaskar

This thing found me a couple years back. It’s straight out of a Time Machine … well someone’s basement. I got it from an elderly gentlemen who built it up to rehab his back (!), thus the Tioga slicks, lights, and such. He tossed it in his basement and there it sat for three decades before he...
